Both PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) and PE (Polyethylene) wrap have various issues such as adhesion, anti-fogging, migration, and elongation. Wrap during cooling and heating in contact with various food was investigated by piezoresponse force microscopy, anti-fog and universal testing machine. The PP (Polypropylene) with POE (Polyolefin elastomer) and tackifier has significantly influenced by wrap property. POE with melting temperature from 50 to 113℃ was integrated as modification of PP. Therefore, the degree of compatibility might be selected to tailor the morphology of the compound. The composite was compounded by twin screw extruder with varying ratios of POE and tackifier, respectively. In our study, adhesion of PP/POE/tackifier composites was showed the best results compare to other types of that. In conclusion, the appropriate ratio of POE and tackifier could improve the adhesion and elongation of wrap films and develop the various issues, simultaneously. |
