제목 | Assessment of reaction condition for the biogas reforming based on carbon formation and hydrogen production |
초록 | In this study, the effect of reaction conditions which includes the reaction temperature, the steam to methane ratio, and biogas composition for the biogas steam reforming reaction has been investigated using thermodynamic analysis, specific energy requirement, and thermal efficiency. The optimized reaction condition has been derived to inhibit carbon formation and maximize hydrogen production. The carbon formation was successfully excluded above reaction temperature of 650oC and steam to methane ratio of 1.5. The hydrogen production showed a maximum value at a reaction temperature of 750oC. At the reaction temperature of 750oC, the steam to methane ratio of 1.5 was the optimum value, which showed lower specific energy requirement and higher thermal efficiency.
