Characteristics of Sn/Li2O composite anode for thin film microbattery |

Various Sn/Li2O composite thin films were compared to choose optimal tin oxide based anode thin film with high cycle efficiency for thin film battery. Structural and charge-discharge characteristics of the as-fabricated Sn/Li2O composite and pure SnO2 thin films were compared. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy measurements revealed that the Sn/Li2O composite showed a little bit different crystallinity. Based on electrochemical characterization, the Sn/Li2O multilayered composite thin film can be used for tin based thin film micro battery and provide motivation to pursue a fabrication of Sn-Li2O anode powder for bulk type battery. |
