Removal of Residual Carbons from Waste Plastic Pyrolysis Oil(WPPO) |
초록 |
Plastic recycling aims to create new chemicals from waste in an environmentally friendly manner. Plastics are pyrolyzed and upgraded to create chemicals with a high added value. Physical and chemical pretreatments are used in the upgrading process. We aim to remove the carbon residue from pyrolysis oil as one of the physical treatments. Carbon residue is a type of carbonaceous matter that contributes to fouling. To increase the efficiency of refining, carbon residue should be removed. The removal strategy used in this work is to increase the hydrophilic group in the carbon residue through oxidation. Increased hydrophilic functional groups in carbon residue aggregate and precipitate. Simultaneously with the precipitate removal, carbon residue is removed. |
