제목 | Surface Modification of Waterborne Polyurethane Containing Fluorinated Oligomer Urethane(SMAs) |
초록 | Fluorinated polymers have been widely used in hydrophobic coatings and medical devices because of their excellent environmental stability, water and oil repellency, and low coefficient of friction. Incorporation of fluorine into polymer main chain or side chain is well known to lead to large changes of the surface properties as the fluorinated polymer chains segregates toward the air-side, resulting in considerable decrease in the surface energy. In this study, we synthesized “Surface-Modified Agents(SMAs)” which are based on urethane chemistry and tailored with fluorinated end groups. Several formulations of SMAs have been developed and blended with base polymers of polyurethanes. 1It has been shown that SMAs migrate to the surface and the fluorine end groups orient themselves toward the air-side, reducing the surface energy of the base polymer. A series of waterborne polyurethanes, based on cyclohexylmethane diisocyanate and 1,4-butanediol as hard segment(HS) and poly(tetramethylene diol)(Mn=2,000), cyclohexylmethane diisocyanate and dimethylol butyric acid as soft segment(SS), were synthesized. To clarify relationships among the phase separation, the migration degree of SMAs and the anti-abrasion property of waterborne polyurethanes, hard segment content and an amount of SMAs adding in polyurethane were investigated in terms of XPS, AFM, contact angle and abrasion test. 참고문헌 1.
