Synthesis of Well-Defined Poly(arylene ether sulfone)s Bearing Various Arms via Chain-Growth Condensation Polymerization |
초록 |
Well-defined star poly(arylene ether sulfone)s were successfully synthesized from multi-arm amide initiators (1A-4A) via chain-growth condensation polymerization, and it was demonstrated that physical properties of the polymer including Tg and viscosity were strongly affected by not only the molecular weight but also the polymer architecture. Unexpected gelation in THF was observed in some polymers via hydrogen bonding between amides and interaction between polymer chains, indicating the importance of well-defined architecture in self-assembly. |
