The physical properties of carbon nanofibers fabricated from carbonization of polyacrylonitrile/cellulose acetate blend |
초록 |
The physical properties of carbon nanofibers prepared by electrospinning and subsequent carbonization of poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN) and cellulose acetate (CA) blend solutions in N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF) were investigated in terms of blend composition and electrospinning temperature. With increasing measuring temperature the intrinsic viscosity calculated by reduced and inherent viscosities of the blend solutions was diminished but the zero shear viscosity was increased. the morphology and the diameter of electrospun and carbonized nanofibers were observed with FE-SEM. The diameter of electrospun and carbonized nanofibers was also decreased with increasing CA content and electrospinning temperature. The carbon yield measured by TGA was decreased with increasing the CA content in the blends. The electrical conductivity of the carbonized nanofibers was increased with increasing both CA content and electrospinning temperature. |
