제목 | 졸-겔법에 의해 PET 필름에 코팅된 Silica/Poly(acrylonitrile) 박막의 차단 특성 |
초록 | Silica thin films combined with organic materials such as functionalized organic alkoxy silanes and organic polymers have been coated on various polymer substrates which are widely used for wrapping materials to provide an improved barrier property. In this study, the oxygen barrier property of silica coated polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) film was studied. Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) with superior barrier property was used as an organic material to obtain crack-free coating layer. It was shown from FT-IR analysis that the nitrile groups may inhibit the formation of siloxane bonds resulting from condensation between the silanol groups, resulting in stronger intensity of the silanol groups with increasing PAN content. It was revealed from morphological analysis and permeation test that the addition of PAN into inorganic silica sol system could produce hybrid coating layer with fine morphology and enhanced barrier property. In addition, the nitromethane-TFE-water mixture solvent system for dissolving PAN was found to be alternative effective solvent system to produce TEOS-PAN sol system. |
