Preparation ofWater bornePolyurethane with High Dispersibilityfor Coating Agents |

Polyurethane(PU)-based coating materials are of commercial interest in many applications because of their excellent properties such as abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, as well as toughness combined with good low-temperature flexibility. Recently, the manufacture of PU adhesive is turning from solvent-based type to water-based dispersion with the increasing awareness of environmental issues. This study presents some basic principles in chemistry reactions and developments of one and two-components changing waterborne PU. This research was financially supported by the Ministry of Education, Science Technology(MEST) and Korea Industrial Technology Foundation(KOTEF) through the Human Resource Training Project for Regional Innovation. |
