제목 Graphene and polycarbonate nanocomposite with enhanced mechanical and electrical properties
초록 Polycarbonate(PC) was grafted to the surface modified graphene nanosheets. The graphene nanosheets, which were derived from chemically reduced graphite oxide, were modified by methylene diphenyl diisocyanate(MDI) and characterized by 1H NMR, XPS, FT-IR. A morphological study showed that, due to the formation of chemical bonds between graphene and PC, the graphene was dispersed well in the PC matrix. With the incorporation of graphene, the tensile strength and modulus of the PC increased significantly. The nanocomposites displayed high electrical conductivity was also achieved.
