Carbon dots including graphene quantum dots (GQDs), carbon quantum dots (CQDs), and carbon nanodots (CNDs) are promising fluorescent nanomaterials applicable to many optoelectrical and bio-applications. Before arguing the biocompatibility of CDs, many reports have uncovered the presence of CDs in foods and drinks. In this study, we’ve verified the presence of fluorescent CDs in coke. Because no external treatment was performed without extraction, we’ve directly ‘extracted’ CDs (not ‘synthesized’) from coke. The optoelectrical and biocompatibility of CDs present in coke will be discussed in detail. 2017년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음. |
