We investigated the effects of the blending condition of activated carbons (AC) for the active material on the electrochemical performance of electric double-layer capacitors. YP-50F (Well-known commercial AC) was selected as a base active material, and KOH-activated pitch-based AC was prepared and used as an additive active material. The blending ratio of two ACs was 95:5, 90:10, 85:15, and 80:20. The textural properties of the blended ACs were measured using N2/77K adsorption isotherms. The electrochemical performances of the ACs were evaluated in terms of cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, and galvanostatic charge/discharge test. |
