In comparing with conventional coating methods, solution-based patterning method has a better position because it can be proceeded in ambient condition. Due to its merits, solution-based patterning method has been actively studied in many applications such as field effect transitors, flexible transparent electrode, solar cells. However there are some drawbacks in these techniques: controllability of pattern thickness, high material consumption, long proces time. In our research, we design high speed, low cost, thickness controllable, solution-based patterning technique by controlling wettability of substrate and demonstrate its application to electronic devices. |
