BMP2-VEGF incorporated nano-cellulose loaded sponge biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP) for bone regeneration. |
초록 |
Nano-cellulose (NC) is a promising biomaterial since it is biocompatible, biodegradable, integrates well with host tissue and has good strength. And in the field of bone tissue engineering, growth factors are extensively being used by many researchers but the most challenging areas are to deliver the growth factors effectively for new bone formation. In this work, we fabricated and evaluated BMP2-VEGF incorporated nano-cellulose loaded sponge biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP) scaffold. The sponge BCP scaffold was prepared by replica method and then it was loaded with BMP2-VEGF incorporated with 0.5% nano-cellulose. Material characterization was provided by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), micro CT and mercury porosimetry. Detailed biocompatibility tests were evaluated by optical density, cell proliferation, cell differentiation. InVitro and InVivo results of the scaffolds showed excellent biocompatibility. So, BMP2-VEGF incorporated nano-cellulose loaded BCP sponge scaffold can be proved as a very good biomaterial for bone regeneration. |
