Fabrication and characterization of sodium alginate and chitosan based layer by layer deposited poly electrolytic complex around BCP spongy scaffold system loaded with BMP-2 for bone tissue regeneration. |
초록 |
In this work, hollow spongy scaffold was fabricated by microwave sintering process. This fabricated scaffold was coated with layer by layer deposition of sodium alginate and genipin crosslinked chitosan. This electrostatic by layer complex along with BCP spongy scaffold was characterized with 1% (W/V) genipin crosslinked Chitosan and sodium alginate with the varying ratio (0.5%, 1% and 1.5%) through the investigation of SEM micrograph, porosity, FTIR as well as in vitro studies like MTT, live dead, cell proliferation and cell differentiation etc. This system was then loaded with BSA to investigate optimum protein release profile. Based on the optimization, BMP-2 was loaded for checking the release profile. |
