In the solution-based coating for preparing carbon nanotube (CNT) film, it is necessary to disperse strongly bound CNTs with surfactants. Electrical conductivity of the CNT film is reduced because contact resistance between the tubes increases by intervention of the surfactant in the contact region. In this study, high energy electron beam at normal temperature and pressure was irradiated on the film to improve conductivity, which is capable of large area processing and environmentally friendly. Electrical conductivity of the film was monitored in terms of electron beam dose and energy and CNT morphology was checked by Raman scattering and TEM. Conductivity was measured using four point probe. Electron beam irradiated CNT films can be applied to flexible transparent films, solar cells, sensors, light conversion optical films and high heat radiation thin films. |
