The Hydrogen Evolution in the Unitized Regenerative Fuel Cell (URFC) |
초록 |
The hydrogen evolution of unsupported PtIr black catalyst was investigated in the unitized regenerative fuel cell (URFC). The theoretical and experimental potentials were determined in the fuel cell mode and the electrolyzer mode of URFC. The amounts of hydrogen (oxygen) gas produced at different times on the cathode (anode) at a constant potential (1.5V) were measured and the hydrogen (oxygen) yield was calculated. The regenerated hydrogen (oxygen) gas is useful to operate the URFC for long time with a stable performance. |
