제목 | Ultrasoft and Ultrastretchable Electronics utilizing Liquid Metal and Highly Soft Elastomer |
초록 | Soft and stretchableelectronic devices are compelling due to their application in various fields.Among the various materials, silicones are widely used due to their softnessand stretchability and easy process to get patterned structures by replica molding.A commercially available silicone, Exsil 100 that exhibits ultrastretchability,ultrasoftness and high tear strength is recognized as promising material forfabricating soft and stretchable electronics, however the patterned structuresare prone to collapse when they are released from mold due to ultrasoftness ofthe materials. Herein, we developed ultrasoft and ultrastretchable electronicsby non-lithographic approach utilizing Exsil silicone and oxidized liquid metalas an elastomeric substrate and electrode, respectively. The oxidized liquidmetal with tuned surface tension imparted superior wettability and rheology forprinting which enabled printing of desired electrodes of different geometrieson the elastomeric substrate |
