HYALURONIC ACID SELF-CROSSLINKING LOADING BCP NANOPARTICLES INJECTABLE HYDROGEL FOR BONE TISSUE ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS |

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is the omnipresent component of all connective tissues and plays numerous roles in the therapeutic applications of bioscaffolds in tissue engineering. Injectable hydrogel compose excellent potential of materials for implantation process and vehicles. In this study, self-crosslinking HA injectable hydrogel loaded with BCP nanoparticles were prepared by the disulfide crosslinking method to mimic the extracellular matrix (ECM) for bone regeneration application. Thiolated HA derivative were self-crosslinking without any agent, convenient gelation method, low risk of byproduct. Physico-chemical properties of HA-BCP hydrogel were analyzed by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) while morphology of the hydrogels was observed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy used for the chemical characterization of a hydrogel. The swelling, degradation behavior of HA/BCP hydrogel were evaluated. Biocompatibility properties of the hydrogel were studied by in vitro-analysis such as MTT assay proliferation of Bone marrow stem cells (BMSC), confocal micrographs observation. |
