To prepare filaments with core/shell structure is an advanced manufacturing method. The components of filaments complemented each other by their outstanding structure and therefore they will be able to have much better properties. For this reason, we have produced PBT/Nylon6,12 filaments with core/shell structure. The filaments were prepared in a twin-screw co-extruder with different ratios of PBT and Nylon6,12. The preparation of filaments was carried out in the same condition of temperature and draft ratio. They were characterized using SEM, DSC and UTM. |
