제목 Synthesis and Luminescence Properties of Dumbbell-Shaped Molecules Combined with Rod and Disc-Like Mesogens
초록 Organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) has attracted a great deal of scientific and industrial attention due to their application in flat-panel displays. A novel series of blue light-emitting molecules containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole moiety have been designed and synthesized. The molecular structures of these oxadiazole compounds were confirmed by FT-IR, 1H-NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The optical properties of these compounds were investigated by UV-vis absorption spectroscopy, photo-luminescence spectroscopy and electro luminescence spectroscopy. The absorption spectra peaks of these compounds varied from 336nm-341nm, while the maximum emissions centered form 410nm-450nm. The results show that increasing the length of central mesogen leads to blue-shift. Their thermal properties also were investigated by DSC method. Their electroluminescence properties will be described.
