Preparation of high cross-linked PMMA particles in modified soap free emulsion polymerization |
| 초록 |
The cross-linked PMMA(methyl methacrylate) particles having high monodispersity successfully prepared in the presence of KPS(potassium per sulfate) as initiator and various amount of EGDMA (ethyleneglycoldimethacrylate) as cross-linked agent using the reversible iodine transfer polymerization (RITP) modified soap-free emulsion polymerization at 60°C for 12 hrs in nitrogen atmosphere. The properties of cross-linked PMMA particles upon the various concentration of EGDMA(1-20%) and Iodine(0.001~0.1%) contents were investigated by means of Optical microscope, SEM, TGA and particle analyzer. |
