Hydrogen storage in porous carbons form silica-eliminated coconut shells at low temperature and high pressure |
초록 |
In this work, silica elimination and chemical activation were carried out using potassium hydroxide, which gave a potential for various porosity. The morphologies of ACs were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). For elemental analysis of surface, Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) was used to analyze the composition of sample surface. The specific surface area and pore size distribution were calculated by N2/77 K adsorption isotherms using the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation and non-local density functional theory (NLDFT). Hydrogen uptakes were obtained by high pressure adsorption instrument at 77 K and 60 bar. |
