Nanotechnology is developing a fascinating method on tissue engineering that could promote extensive research and lead to the innovative methods to improve, restore and maintain tissue function. We focused on the nanotopographical cue that has been used to enhance cell migration and differentiation. In this study, we manufactured that biodegradable nanopatterned patch (BNP) which was applied as biomimetic scaffold was prepared with poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) by capillary force lithography. We implanted only BNP and biodegradable flat patch (BFP) as a scaffold on the mouse calvarial defect because of it provides biophysical cues to stimulate osteoblast migration and proliferation. Only BNP treated group had more broad new bone formation and more compact bone regeneration at defect area compared to BFP at 8 weeks. The BNP should be suitable utilized for treating chronic and acute disease such as myocardial infarction, and hind limb ischemia disease. |
