제목 Enhanced Performance of Inverted Organic Solar Cell by Simple Modification of ITO-Free Ag Substrate
초록 The interfacial modification is expected to cover the disadvantage of inverted solar cell with low efficiency, because the contact of electrode with the organic or inorganic film and even the work function can be tailored by using polar molecules forming a highly ordered, two-dimensional self-assembled monolayer. we here show how a series of functional thiol SAMs with different alkyl chain length can be used to increase Voc, Jsc and fill factor and to lower the effective series resistance of the PIDT_PhanQ and PC71BM based BHJ device using newly developed transparent electrode (glass/TeO2(8nm)/Ag(7nm)). Particularly, the inverted organic solar cell based on 4-marcapto-1-butanol modified Ag substrate exhibit excellent electrical characteristics with high FF, Voc and PCE up to 6.2% comparable to 6.1% of ITO, offering the full potential to make highly stable and well performed plastic solar cells.
