The precise shape control of silver nanoparticles with the concentration of HCl |
| 초록 |
We have investigated the shape evolution of silver nanoparticles by precisely controlling the concentration of HCl. The introduction of HCl to polyol synthesis plays dual functions on the promotion of etching reactions toward the primary multiply twinned silver nanoparticles and the stabilization of the generated particles. Therefore the stabilization of the particles gave us more chance to precisely manipulate the shape of finally produced silver nanoparticles and the etching capability toward the generated particles drew the shape evolution of the final products such as wire, cube, truncated cube and icosahedral structures. |
