In general, a circular solid-polymer electrolytes (SPEs) show low ionic conductivity at room-temperature because most polymers for SPEs have either comparatively high crystallinity or high glass transition temperature (Tg), which reduce the mobility of the ions. Moreover, inflammable properties of polymer may lead to short-term stability and happen to safety reservation. The organic–inorganic hybrid materials offer specific opportunities not only to have the best of both systems but also to make definitely new compound with synergy effect. Amorphous poly(propylene carbonate) (PPC) has drawn attention in order to their compatibility with lithium salt, transparency, and transformable property into rubbery state because of near room temperature. In this work, the hybrid matrix of PPC with an inorganic silane monomer was synthesized by the sol-gel processing and PPC-diol reaction and used FT-IR, NMR and SEM to measure them. |
