The effect of lithium salt (LiDFOB) on structural, thermal and ionic conductivity studies of Solid Polymer Electrolytes (SPEs) has been reported. The changes in the structural properties of the polymer electrolyte materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) technique was used to study the thermal parameters (i.e., glass transition temperature (Tg) and crystalline melting temperature (Tm)) of the SPEs. After adding lithium salt, the conductivity of PEO based SPEs increases. The dielectric behavior of the SPEs has been studied using variation of real and imaginary parts of dielectric permittivity with frequency. The real and imaginary part of dielectric modulus with frequency indicates that the systems are predominantly ionic conductors. |
