Adduct of aminopropyl imidazole and polymeric MDI as a latent hadener for epoxy resin |
초록 |
Recently, latent hardener are fequently used for the epoxy resins of electronic parts for the processability required in the application. A thermal latent hardener for epoxy resin was prepared by reaction between the 1-(3-aminopropyl) imidazole (API) and polymethylene diisocyanate (PMDI) to form urea-derivatives or blocked API. Those ureas undergo thermal dissociation into the cresponding amines and isocyanates, and the primary amines thus released become hardener and imidazole ring initiate the ring-opening polymerization of epoxide. Furthermore released isocyanate also can react with epoxide group to form oxazolidone rings which can improve thermal property of final polymer. The blocked API is promised latent hardener for epoxy resin using in electronic encapsulation field. |
