제목 | Evaluation of fouling control efficiency of particulate and humic acid on microfiltration ceramic membrane: Chemical and ultrasonic cleaning method |
초록 | As ceramic membranes are physically and chemically stable and have longer lifetimes than conventional polymer membranes, recently it is widely used in water industries. However, particulate and organic fouling are still major issue in ceramic membrane due to fouling directly connected to performance. In this study, microfiltration ceramic membrane was used for treatment of feed waters including turbidity (Kaolin) and organic concentrations (Humic acid). In addition, chemical and ultrasonic cleaning methods were studied to control fouling, and evaluate cleaning efficiency.
