제목 Effect of hybrid system and  purification of carbon fillers on thermoelectric performance of PVDF/carbon hybrid films
초록 In this study, we prepared the PVDF/carbon hybrid films with enhanced thermoelectric performance. Hybrid filler of graphite nanoplatelet (GNP) and single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) increased the electrical conductivity as a bridge role of SWCNT between GNPs in the carbon hybrid films. The improved electrical conductivity is due to the purification process performed in acid solution, which effectively removed amorphous carbon, additives and impurities in carbon fillers. Seebeck coefficient of the hybrid films was similarly maintained at about 40 μV/K due to intrinsic property of material. Calculated power factor was considerably increased to about 14 μW/mK2 due to purification of SWCNT. Power output of the flexible thermoelectric device based on carbon hybrid films was also measured by a custom-made apparatus.
