제목 Hydrogen storage behaviors of nickel-deposited activated carbon aerogels
초록 In this study, nickel-deposited activated carbon aerogels were prepared for hydrogen storage by KOH activation of carbon aerogels and then nickel nanoparticle deposition. The presence of nickel nanoparticles on activated carbon aerogels was shown by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The textural properties were investigated by N2/77 K adsorption-desorption isotherms using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The micropore size distributions were analyzed by Horvath–Kawazoe (HK) methods. The hydrogen storage capacities were evaluated by a volumetric measurement at 298 K and 100 bar. The hydrogen storage behaviors were greatly influenced by the presence of Ni on activated carbon aerogels which can be hydrogen-favorable sites.
