Stable dispersion of unoxidized and defect free 2D graphene sheet with a concentration up to 0.550 mg mL-1 was prepared by sonication-assisted solvent exfoliation of pitch-based carbon fiber (p-CF) in low boiling point and nontoxic solvent, alcohol. We have measured the dispersion of graphene in methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, 2-butanol, tert-butanol, and NMP as comparative. The solvent was quickly removed from the 2D graphene sheet by vacuum oven at low temperature, which shortens production time and does not leave residue of the solvent in the graphene sheet. Thin film of 2D graphene sheet was prepared by vacuum filtration of the dispersion showed sheet resistance 12.04 and 758.70 Ω/sq for graphene film dispersion in IPA and tert-butanol respectively which indicated that pitch-based carbon fiber can be another carbon resource as the starting materials for graphene. 2016년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음. |
