제목 | Preparation and Characteristics of Graft Polymerization of Styrene onto Cellulose by Pre-irradiation Method |
초록 | Grafting reactions initiated by pre-irradiation method is an environmentally friendly and effective method to the surface modification without the use of chemical additives. Especially, grafting polymer onto cellulose has been the subject of numerous investigations for the modification of the chemical and physical properties such as biocompatibility. Polystyrene grafted cellulose was prepared by the pre-irradiation method using electron beam(E-beam). The effects of the absorbed radiation dosage, reaction time and temperature, and monomer concentration on grafting yield were investigated. Also, the grafted samples were characterized and analyzed by SEM, EA, FT-IR, XRD and TGA. |
