Organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) that use thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) light emitting method show excellent external quantum efficiency and good lifetime without using inorganic materials like iridium, platinum and so on. However, research is still underway for a good lifetime in Blue TADF OLEDs. Herein, we implement several times better lifetime and external quantum efficiency in Blue TADF devices by introducing additional hole-trapping materials to adjust the charge balance. It is a new method to balance the charge at emitting layer, which is expected to lead to progress in future research on OLED devices using blue TADF materials. |
