제목 | Development of bipolar host for blue TADF dopant in ortho-terphenyl structure containing pyridine |
초록 | 3,3''-di(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-1,1':2',1''-terphenyl (DCz-oTP), a previously known ortho-terphenyl structure, exhibited a high max EQE of 23.37%. With this in mind, the introduction of pyridine, a representative electron-withdrawing group, is expected to increase the electron transfer speed and lower the driving voltage, and 9,9'-(pyridine-2,3-diylbis(3,1-phenylene))bis(9H-carbazole) (oP-oTP), 9,9'-(pyridine-3,4-diylbis(3,1-phenylene))bis(9H-carbazole) (mP-oTP) which are blue Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence (TADF) HOSTs introduced at both ortho and meta, were synthesized. An Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) device was fabricated by applying the synthesized material, and mP-oTP showed a high max external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 23.51%, a low turn-on voltage of 3.26V, and a longer lifetime in LT80 than the basic material, DCz-oTP. |
