CO2 utilization is one of the most important techniques in chemical and environmental society in 21st century for mitigation of global warming. In Particular, reduction of CO2 to formic acid or formate attracts a significant attention due to its diverse utility for chemical industry. In this talk, the more profitable and challenging catalytic reactions, namely, simultaneous conversion of CO2 and glycerol, and base-free CO2 hydrogenation will be presented. For this purpose, various types of hybride organic-inorganic nanomaterials such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), their derived carbon materials, and metal oxo molecular clusters were adopted to prepare high-performance and recyclable heterogeneous catalysts. Catalysts showed greater catalytic activity due to their high dispersion and increase stability. The prepared catalysts were thoroughly analysed by detailed structural, chemical, and morphological characterizations. |
