Synthesis and application of nitrogen doped graphene nanoplatelets |

Recently, nitrogen-doped graphene have emerged as a promising material for various applications because of its superb electronic and catalytic property. We used highly efficient acid-catalyzed dehydrogenation reaction between organic molecules and graphene oxide to produce nitrogen-doped graphene. The structural and morphological features of newly synthesized nitrogen-doped graphene were well characterized using diverse analytical techniques. We used electrochemical measuring apparatus and Element analysis(EA), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS) and so on. The resultant nitrogen-doped graphene displays not only good structural restoration of graphitic structures but also excellent electrical properties. We analyzed underlying mechanism from the result data and considered other factors that influence the pattern of data. It can give us a mass observation for the structure-property relatioships of newly synthesized nitrogen-doped graphene. |
