Two photon absorption is attractive owing to its various applications in the areas of optical data storage, three-dimensional imaging, and three-dimensional lithographic microfabrication through two-photon-induced polymerization. Usually, commercial resins have been used to make three-dimensional polymeric structures, which consist of initiator, acrylate monomer for crosslinking, and poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) as polymer binder. In this study, we designed and synthesized one-body type resin that contains two-photon absorbing chromophores and photo-crosslinkable epoxy groups. Synthetic methods and evaluation results will be discussed.
