Organic photovoltaic cells(OPVs) have been significantly studied as low cost, low weight, and capability to be fabricated into flexible large area devices by solution process. Recently, two-dimensional(2D) conjugated polymers with conjugated side chains have been proven to successful strategies in the molecular design of high performance materials. This type of polymers feature lowering HOMO energy level and extended 2D-conjugated polymer could enhance the miscibility with fullerene acceptors in BHJ device fabrication. Diketopyrrolopyrrole(DPP) unit has a well conjugated structure with strong π-π interaction and electron-withdrawing effect, which results in efficient charge transport. In this work, we synthesized and characterized DPP based 2D-conjugated polymer by Suzuki coupling reaction. We investigated the physical, electrochemical, optical and photovoltaic properties. |
