Film properties and cure behavior of copolymeric product obtained from polymerization of trimethoxy silane with modified acrylic monomer |
초록 |
During the past one century, both amino resin which is made with formaldehyde and isocyanate prepolymer for urethane reaction were dominant cross-linker in coating industries and adhesive industries. Whereas, both formaldehyde and isocyanate are known as one of the most hazardous raw materials to be restricted in many applications. New cross-linking system achieved similar properties of coating compared to existing cross-linker and cure behavior between alkoxy group and hydroxyl group has enough feasibility to be commercialized. In the present experiment a series of trimethoxy silane/N-butoxy acrylamide copolymer were synthesized in an attempt to investigate the influence of the monomer and reagent. Mechanical properties, film properties, GPC analysis and thermal properties of copolymer were also studied as a function of trimethoxy silane and N-butoxy acrylamide content. |
