The encapsulation technology is the most demanding requirement to prevent water and oxygen permeation into flexible organic electronic devices. So, It is required to apply novel materials having the high flexibility and mechanical stability such as polymer. Herein, an organic layer for encapsulation of the flexible organic electronic devices was achieved by depositing a polymer using a poly(2,4,6,8-tetravinyl-2,4,6,8-tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane(p(V4D4)) or a poly(cyclohexyl acrylate)(p(CHMA)). The polymer films were deposited by Initiated Chemical Vapor Deposition(iCVD) allowing conformal surface on PEN substrate. The produced polymer barrier films show an outstanding optical property at UV-visible light region. The water vapor transmission rate(WVTR) of organic layer was determined by an electrical Ca test at 85℃, 85% relative humidity(RH). |
