제목 Preparation of Surface-Grafted Polymer Brush Adsorbents with High Amine Density and Their Adsorption Characteristics for Carbon Dioxide Separation
초록 Dry Adsorption technology for CO2 recovery from flue gas has economic advantage over typical wet amine process because of small amount of water usage, small process volume, easy temperature control etc. New organic-inorganic hybrid adsorbents such as amine functionalized zeolites, metal-organic framework etc., have been developed and reported recently . This study developed new polymer brush-type new adsorbents as follows. Azo groups containing chloro silane coupling agents were prepared and were surface-attached with strong covalent bonds on the surface of inorganic porous substrates  Primary amine monomers were then,  immobilized and polymerized into inorganic substrates with thermal initiators. The prepared adsorbents with various amine density are confirmed by BET and TGA. Higher CO2 adsorption capacity were observed with higher amine density,
