제목 Photoluminescence Improvement of Poly(3-methylthiophene) Nanowires according to Length Variable DNA Hybrid
초록 We reported on the nanoscale optical characteristics and biosensor (DNA or protein) applications using a hybrid metal/polymer nanoparticle (NP). We fabricated the silver (Ag)/polydiacetylene (PDA) NPs using re-precipitation and hydrothermal methods without employing further treatment. We investigated the formation and surface morphology of the PDA NPs and Ag/PDA NPs using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and a high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HR-TEM). We measured the Raman and PL spectra for the PDA and Ag/PDA NPs using a homemade LCM. After the functionalization and their label–free recognition of biomaterials (target DNAs (t-DNAs) or protein), the light-emitting color and intensity of a polymer NP were changed, and then luminescence intensity was enhanced due to the changes of the PDA main chains and fluorescence chain reactions. The enhanced optical performance can be explained the SPR coupling effect. We confirmed the improved sensor performance.
