Novel hole transport materials having low HOMO level and their application for solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells |
초록 |
Solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells (s-DSCs) have been studied for renewable energy industry. This system has several advantages such as low cost, good stability and esthetic values. Hole conductor is one of factors of s-DSCs to be used for hole transportation from the dye to the counter electrode. Examples of hole transport materials (HTM) with high performance for solar devices are PEDOT/TFSI- (Yanagida) and spiro-OMeTAD (Gratzel). The cell performance of ss-DSSC using spiro-OMeTAD as a hole conductor was reported almost 5%. To obtain high cell efficiency, we synthesized the novel HTMs having low HOMO energy level to get transparency and higher open circuit voltage. Also, we considered small size of molecules for good pore-filling. Optical and electrochemical properties were investigated to satisfy my consideration. |
