In this work, the porous carbon materials (PCs), which have high specific surface area, and large porevolume were prepared by the polythiophene polymer (PTP). PCs were activated by using KOH as a function of activation temperature. The crystalline and features of PCs is investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) equipment and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) respectively. The textural properties were investigated by N2/77K adsorption isotherms using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation and Barret-Joyner-Halenda (BJH) method. From the results, it was found that the highly PCs derived from polythiophene polymer were influenced by activation of KOH. |
