제목 | Antitumor activity of vorinostat-incorporated biodegradable nanospheres against HuCC-T1 cholangiocarcinoma cells |
초록 | Vorinostat (rINN) or suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA) is a member of a larger class of compounds that inhibit histone deacetylases (HDAC). Histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDI) have a anticancer activities against various kinds of cancers such as lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes and lung cancer, etc. A recent study suggested that vorinostat also possesses anticancer activity against recurrent glioblastoma multiforme, resulting in a median overall survival of 5.7 months. In this study, we fabricated vorinostat-incorporated nanoparticles using poly(ethylene glycol)/polylactide (LE) block copolymer for treatment of cholangiocarcinoma. We obtained positive anticancer activities with vorinostat-incorporated nanoparticles against HuCC-T1 human cholangiocarcinoma cells in vitro and in vivo. |
