The UV-curing technology has been widely used in industrial coatings owing to many advantages, including no emission of volatile organic compounds, low energy consumption, low process costs, high chemical stability, ultrafast curing rate and ambient temperature operation. In this study, carboxylic ester acrylate oligomers were synthesized by the reaction between anhydride and acrylate containing hydroxyl group. In order to develop the durable laminated glass filled with UV-curing resin, various base resin containing carboxylic ester acrylate oligomer were prepared and photopolymersized by UV radiation. The viscosity, specific gravity, refractive index, and Tg of synthesized oligomers were characterized. The laminated glass specimens filled with UV-curing resin containing carboxylic ester acrylate oligomers showed higher adhesive strength, light resistance, thermal stability, impact resistance than that of Monomer specimen composed of acrylic acid and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate. |
