제목 Performance of Polypyrrole-impregnated composite electrode for URFC
초록 A unitized regenerative fuel cell (URFC) is an electrochemical cell functioning as a fuel cell and a water electrolyzer. Compared to the conventional RFC system, a simpler and more compact system can be constructed by using the URFC because the URFC system uses only one electrochemical cell. In this paper, Pt/PPy/Nafion composite electrodes were fabricated using PPy/Nafion composite membranes prepared by chemical reduction with pyrrole. PPy/Nafion composite membranes and Pt/PPy/Nafion composite electrodes were investigated for their morphologies, electrochemical properties and performances for proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) and water electrolyzer.. This URFC with a chemically reducted electrolyte membrane can achieve reproducible performance and have a promising stability.
