The ability of molybdenum (Mo) to withstand extreme temperatures without significantly expanding or softening makes it useful in applications that involve intense heat, including the manufacture of aircraft parts, electrical contacts, industrial motors and filaments. So, the extraction and purification processes of Mo should be studied. In this work, the liquid - liquid phase equilibrium of binary and ternary mixtures have been measured with related extractant of Mo. The experimental data were correlated using NRTL equation and the correlated values were compared with the measured data. In addition, we report mixture properties of the excess molar volumes and deviations in molar refractivity data at 298.15K for the same chemicals. |
